Richard Williamson (better known as Ricky Se7en) created the JWF, along with Owen Richards (Neno Cross) and Luke Higgins (Hardcore Higgins) back in 2001, and built it up from a backyard federation based out of Richard’s garden, to the company you see before you today.
Se7en would go onto become the first (and at time of writing) only man to hold both the World AND U/V title at the same time.
Se7en and the Punisher were involved in a long running feud that culminated at Home is Where the Hurt is 1 in a cage. Two years later, the pair were set to settle things once more in the same environment, however due to backstage differences The Punisher was replaced with Bedlam. These two Ultra Violent warriors beat the holy hell out of each other. If it hadn't been for The Punisher's surprise return Se7en would have walked out with the UV title for the 3rd time.
Perhaps fittingly, Se7en won the World Title again at Birthday Bumps – a show created to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of the JWF – in a 6 man TLC match.
Early in 2007, Richard, Owen and Luke decided that they had taken the JWF as far as they could go. They were leaving with the company in good shape in the form of a committee, and with their reputations and legend in tact, and forever in the JWF Hall of Fame.
