Falling Out at Fallout...
JWF Fallout 2010 Summary

Written by S. Reading-Brown

Welcome back to all the fans of the JWF! After the Christmas break the wrestlers were on top form for the first show of the new year, and we kicked off with a spectacular performance from the Revolution of Laughter as pulled off an amazing shock victory over LR Rose & Toxic Nick and 5 Star Rating to be crowned the new JWF Tag Team Champions. The crowd erupted into cheers as the comedy duo claimed their second successive Tag Title. I wonder how they will progress now as new talent arrives in the tag division.

The show continued with the first of the EuroStar Semi-Finals taking place. A few slight changes not long before the event saw two  members of The Reality square off against each other for the first spot in the finals scheduled to take place at BattleBowl on 28th February.
Shredd and Mr. Jim gave as good as each other  in a match that appeared to see-saw with  Mr. Jim taking full control to begin with, then Shredd taking over and so on with a ending seeing Shredd give Jim the Shredd Effect and proceed to the finals of the EuroStar Tournament. The turmoil didn’t end there, as Rebel Hells Karn and new member Corvin attacked Shredd from behind after the final bell. Karn delivered the a vicious cutter while Mr. Jim blasted Shredd with words of the attack being a “True Reality”. Taurian came to Shredds aide after  seeing enough and after the Rebels scattered we saw Shredd and Taurian shaking hands. In a bizarre twit of fate are we seeing a new Reality? Or was Taurian just being a good friend. Head along next to BattleBowl on Feb 28th to find out more!

Next up we saw two veterans of the company in The Beast and Pete Vicious in a triple threat match with Will N. Courage. The match saw plenty of spectacle including Will landing not only the standing Moonsault, but also his trademark move the Standing Shooting Star Press. The Beast showed his true strengths throughout the match, even hoisting both Pete V and Will up for a double Sidewalk Slam, however when Gallow showed up for redemption on The Beast after destroying his leg the month before he didn’t stick round for long and ended up leaving Pete and Will in a one on one situation.
Despite all the efforts of Will the experienced Pete Vicious who seemed to have stepped up his game with an array of new moves and old sequences refreshed took Will to school and claimed the win with a submission move.

The second title match of the night happened when we saw Xavier defend his belt in a Fatal Four Way match against long time rival “The Golden One Lance Midas, NeXuS and Cleatuz. With Shadow in tow, Xavier proved once again that he rules the Ultra-Violence division and intends to for some time to come, systematically picking apart his opponents. Many bumps and bruises, tables and chairs later and we saw something that had been sitting at ringside but not brought into play come alive, The Barbed Wire. With the wire wrapped around his leg Xavier took the opportunity to
Choke-Breaker Lance Midas straight onto the it. The match ended with the belt leaving with the same wrestler it came in with, and an usual show of appreciation from NeXuS towards Xavier saw the pair leaving to a cheer of appreciation from the crowd.

Moving on and it was time to see who would be facing Shredd in the EuroStar final. Rob Cove took on Lycan in a match that looked like Lycan had it all wrapped up like a late Christmas present as he showed the new guy how the Lunar Psycho did things, but in the end cove got the better of him with an impressive submission which made Lycan tap out. There was a small confrontation between the two finalists after the match but ended with a friendly handshake to seal the deal.

Just over the halfway mark of the first event of the year and the Fallout train was rolling at pace. Next up we saw the culmination of a feud that has lasted months in the company. Djinn was set to take on The Massive in what should have been a tag team match, but without a partner Djinn was facing the Chav bullies alone.
Djinn showed heart and determination taking on two guys and threw an array of impressive high flying moves into the equation to keep The Massive at bay, but it could only last a short time before the numbers game caught up and Djinn looked beat. After a desperation move that saw both Djinn and “Sterling” Shaun Clark grounded a familiar theme blasted the hall. It was the theme of NeXuS coming to Djinns aide. He jumped up to ringside and begged for the tag, the crowd fully behind this newly formed team. A hot tag made and NeXuS took out the Massive piece by piece before nailing the Shallow Grave on Shaun Clark. With Djinn now the legal man there was only one more thing to do, finish The Massive off, and it was done in a way that Djinn only knows how, in style. Djinn climbed to the top rope and connected with the Final Wish before picking up a deserved 3 count.
Djinn has now got one over on The Massive but  can’t see them taking this on the chin. Will there be more aggression from the Chavs towards what could be a newly formed team in NeXuS and Djinn? Only time will tell.

When two big men collide in the ring, you expect and great match and a show of brute strength, and that exactly what was on offer and T-Block defended his European Championship against the monster in Karn. As Karn entered the ring you feel the anger inside him waiting to release on the Euro Champ, but T-Block has never been the type of guy to take anything laying down.
An impressive feat occurred for the next 15 minutes with the match swinging back and forth until in the end T-Block gained a win over the travelling nightmare.
T-block has defended the European Championship against some of the best in the business and looks set to continue his streak as champion. Is there anyone that can pry the belt away from him? Maybe BattleBowl will see us crown a new European Champion?

The climax of the show was imminent as the plowed in the final match of the day. Taurian versus Billy-Bob in a World Title rematch… with a twist.
Earlier we saw Billy-Bob and Taurian confront each other in the ring when we learned that this match would be heavily stipulated in neither mans favour.
Billy-Bob was not allowed any member of Rebel Hell out at ringside to aide him, nor could he intentionally get himself disqualified as the title would change hands. But if Taurian lost, he would not gain another World Title Shot all the time a member of Rebel Hell was holding the belt. Both men had something to prove in this match as the World Champion took on the former World Champion.
The match was fast paced hard hitting with neither wrestler backing down. It was a match that looked like it could go either way until Taurian nailed three Bulls Eyes in succession. It wasn’t enough to keep the Redneck out of the match though and both competitors continued to punish each other until Billy-Bob locked in a painful submission move which left Taurian immobilized in the centre of the ring. With both arms locked up he had no choice but to say he gave up, giving the win to the Inbred Evil that is Billy-Bob.
The champion left with his first successful title defence under his belt and strides into BattleBowl on top form, but he needs to keep the form to retain the biggest prize in the JWF.

BattleBowl looms ever nearer and there appear to be a lot of unanswered questions as we roll into the show, and to top it all everyone wants to win the BattleBowl match and go on to Home is Where The Hurt Is VII to face the World Champion.

Who will be the first entrant?

Who will be the last?

And who will win the BattleBowl match?

Come along on February 28th to the Linden Park Scout Hall to find out!
